100 years ago, on 29 November 1922 precisely, Howard Carter and his team opened the world-famous grave of pharao Tutankhamun.
We commemorate this centennial by bringing back a legendary coin concept - the Opus Magnificum. Eight 999 fine silver coins with images of various grave goods are embedded in a 500 g fine silver plate.

In 1922, the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered by Egyptologist Howard Carter and public interest in ancient Egypt was sparked.King Tut, also known as "Boy King" since he was merely 9 years old when he started his reign, died at only 18 years old and was buried in the Valley of the Kings together with over 5,000 treasures. Tutankhamun's golden death mask has become the symbol for Ancient Egypt and is on display in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
This edition astonishes with three coin inlays: the headdress, the face of the mask, and the beard. The delicate inlays come in three different weights.
