The wolf (canis lupus) is the largest predator of the dog family. Early on wolves found their way into the myths and tales of many peoples. Since the end of the 20th century, the wolf has been under protection in many countries. This coin features four different minting techniques. They are survivalists that can live in harsh and scarce environments by slowing down the metabolism, due to this they are able to survive without food for one whole year. All scorpions have a venomous stinger used for hunting and self-defense, however only a few species are an actual threat to humans. Especially interesting is the fact that scorpions are able to adjust their venom to suit different predators and prey.

Grizzly bears are omnivores which can grow up to 2,50 m in height and 770kg in weight. Their diet consists of fruits, roots and plants,in addition to that they hunt prey such as fish, rodents or young hoofed animals.
